Heya Band peeps!!
The Band blog seem dead cause poor Vanny is too busy with other things..
Maybe the thought of updating the band blog seem to slip past her mind..
Well I don't really know what's on her mind.
I'm just making this blog ALIVE!


For those who haven't get "Hong Baos" from Mr Yeo last Thursday's band practice,
Well maybe too bad. I was giving out the "Hong Baos" frantically.
If those who haven't get want to figure out what's inside, go figure!
Haha.


And hey you band peeps out there. Especially the sec 3s, if you want to be somebody,
Well I mean a Drum Major or a Quartermaster, then start changing your behavior!
Ask Me! or Hillary! or Hidayah! Or just observe them what qualities they have that the teachers chose them.

My story was different, though. I thought Hafiz was going to be the DM.
Things turn out different. There will always be some few unhappy with the Teacher's choice. Honestly, its difficult for them to choose.

Criteria/Qualities to being a DM/BM/QM etc:
RESPECT!
Co-operation! (Cooperate well!)
Attitude towards Band! (I mean relly Passionate and Enthu!)
Your instrument and music skills!
The LOVE for Band! (Its something far more than passionate n' Enthu)

Remember these well big dreamers!
Someday you will be someone respectable just like me or Hillary!
You will be under much stress as well as the Respect earned!


Also, to all band members, Congratulations on participating for SYF 2009!
But don't celebrate just yet, SYF not yet over.
Everyonne please AIM FOR GOLD!
You can aim for gold but, its your attitude to practicing!
You want Gold, behave like a Gold band.
Same goes for Gold with Honours too.

As for those who didn't get a chance yet, please don't give up all hope!
You still have a chance to work Triple Hard! If not a MILLION times hard!
Don't just work solely on just Cantus Jubilante or Overture No.1, work on both!
When in doubt, ASK! (same as "Don't know, ASK!")
As I said, the more, the merrier. BUT, its Quality that counts! Not too much on quantity!


That's not all I have to say.
I still have alot to say but I don't want to feed you peeps too much of my knowledge.
